We'll be the first to admit that we don’t like baking, and we am not one to follow recipes. This recipe only has a few ingredients and one dish, WIN-WIN! These peppermint paleo brownies are our go-to dessert because they are so easy to make.

ABOUT THE INGREDIENTS
COCONUT FLOUR
Baking with coconut flour can be tricky at first, but once you get it down, you will love it. Be prepared to use a ton of eggs if you are baking with coconut flour. It is a dense flour, and it requires a lot of liquid to get a delicious dish.
It is free from wheat and gluten, making it a good option for anyone that has a gluten intolerance. It is low in sugar, carbohydrates and has a low score on the glycemic index. Coconut flour is high in fiber, protein, and healthy fats.
COCONUT OIL
It is our number 1 oil for cooking, especially because we mainly cook dairy-free, and we use it in a lot of our natural homemade personal products. Coconut oil has been in the spotlight lately, and we don’t see it going anywhere, anytime soon! We buy coconut oil by the gallon (or should we say gallons) because we use it for everything.
Coconut oil is a heart-healthy food loaded with vitamins and nutrition that can benefit your body. It is anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-inflammatory. Adding it to your diet can be very beneficial!
HONEY
We love being able to sweeten all of our desserts with local raw honey. If you have watched any of our cooking videos on youtube, you know that we buy honey by the gallon. We live close to an Amish community, and they sell raw honey. It is to die for, so when we go, we stock up.
High-quality honey is a good source of antioxidants. It is loaded with minerals, such as calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc.
