Tips for Making DIY Room Spray
- Mixing the oils with the baking soda is an important step to make sure the aroma from the oils incorporates into the spray. You don’t want to skip that step.
- If you’re using a sprayer with a fine mist nozzle, please keep in mind that the nozzle may clog. To prevent this, be sure to clean the nozzle regularly to ensure it is free from obstructions. You can also opt for a different spray bottle that emits larger droplets.
- If you find these room sprays too strong, feel free to reduce the amount of essential oils. This is a good idea for those with small children or pets around.
- Not sure if you’ll like a blend? Give it a test run by putting those same oils in the diffuser. That way, you can see if you like it before committing to a whole bottle of room spray. Learn how to use a diffuser if you’re new to essential oils.
