Natural Laundry DIYs for: a More Sustainable Life

Keep laundry simple, affordable, and sustainable with these natural laundry DIYs! You can transform your entire laundry routine with natural DIY laundry products that you will love.

When we first started making our own home, bath, and beauty products over a decade ago, homemade laundry soap was one of the very first things we switched to.

Laundry soap felt like an easy place to start because you can make your own laundry detergent so easily! It was a great way to dip our toes into natural living.

Not only that, but making laundry soap also had a big impact on our natural living journey. Our clothes sit directly on our skin all day and night, so we wanted to switch to products that are free of harmful ingredients but still get the job done.

It was an added benefit that making our own laundry soap saves me hundreds of dollars every year!

You can, too, with all of our simple, affordable, and sustainable laundry product recipes! We've since branched out from simple laundry soap. We now make our own dryer sheets, laundry soap pods, fabric softener, and so much more.

Want to keep it quick? If you only have time to try one of these natural laundry recipes, we recommend this homemade liquid laundry soap. That is our most popular recipe and the one we use most often!
