My Latest Coveted Find: A Thomasville Hollywood Regency Gem
Speaking of stories, I’m thrilled to unveil one of my absolute favorite recent acquisitions: an authentic vintage Thomasville faux bamboo chinoiserie/Hollywood Regency coffee table. This piece isn’t just furniture; it’s a statement, a conversation starter, and the perfect example of why the hunt is always worth it.
The Hunt for the Perfect Coffee Table Begins
Moving into our charming little bungalow presented its fair share of decorating challenges. One of the most pressing was finding a new coffee table. Like many pieces that made the journey with us, my previous coffee table, while lovely in its old setting, was simply too grand for our new, cozier living space. While it was slightly more than my initial budget, I knew I was getting an absolute steal. These vintage Thomasville pieces, particularly those embodying the sought-after Hollywood Regency style, can easily fetch upwards of $500 in the resale market. The joy of securing such a high-value item for a fraction of its worth is truly unmatched in the world of thrifting.
